This year marks the 140th anniversary of Lu Xun's birth.In order to celebrate this great occasion,the conference on "Lu Xun and China in the 20th century" hosted by the Chinese Department of China University of political science and law was held on October 10, 2021.The scholars from Peking University, Beijing Normal University, China Academy of Arts, Anshan Normal University, Shanghai University, Wuhan University, University of foreign trade and economic cooperation, Beijing Union University attended the meeting.

Scholars have had a heated discussion around Lu Xun and education in China, Lu Xun and China's modern culture, Lu Xun and regional culture. Through the discussion ,we are more and more aware that how to sort out the connection between Lu Xun and China in the 20th century and how to continue to go deep into the ideological propositions left by Lu Xun are important issues that we should seriously consider and study at present.
