On October 30, the “Tradition, Nation, World: Aesthetic Education and Traditional Art in Universities from an International Perspective” Forum was held simultaneously at the Haidian Campus of China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) and on Tencent meeting. Organized by the School of Humanities, Academic Office, Research Office and Institute of Art, this international conference aimed to deeply study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on aesthetic education in the new era. It also sought to fulfill the Ministry of Education's "Guidelines for Public Arts Courses in Higher Education Institutions," discussing the creative transformation and innovative development of China's traditional art culture in global higher education institutions. The forum aimed to enhance the overall quality of aesthetic education and promote academic exchanges among universities.
Experts from several institutions participated, including The Education University of Hong Kong, Northeastern Illinois University, Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, China Conservatory of Music, Capital Normal University, Jimei University, University of Science and Technology Beijing, and CUPL.
