Memorandum of Understanding on Academic Cooperation between

Department ofPhilosophy Sociology, Pedagogy, andApplied Psychology (FISPPA) of University of Padova

and School of Humanities of China University of Political Science and Law


In order to develop academic cooperation and exchange between Department of Philosophy Sociology, Pedagogy, and Applied Psychology (FISPPA) of University of Padova (hereafter referred to as Party B) and School of Humanities of China University of Political Science and Law (hereafter referred to as Party A), the two Parties agree to engage in cooperation as follows:

I. Areas of cooperation:

1. Exchange of teachers and researchers;

2. Exchange of staff;

3. Exchange of students;

4. Cooperative research;

5. Co-sponsoring seminars, conferences or workshops;

6. Exchange of academic publication materials or other information;

7. Co-operation in training projects for specified areas of development;

8. Programs sponsored by both countries;

9. Opportunities for other forms of co-operation, such as the delivery of credit and non-credit course.

II. The terms of specific areas of cooperation shall be further considered and agreed upon in writing by the Parties prior to the initiation of any particular activity. Any specific program will be subject to mutual consent, availability of funds and approval of both parties.

III. This agreement will be effective for 5 years when the last party has signed this agreement.Upon agreement between the two parts, it may be renewed for another five years after its expiration.

IV. The agreement is signed in English and Chinese in duplicate. In case of differing interpretation, the parties will solve it through mutual negotiation.
