Introduction   to American Contemporary Art

Brief

Through the analysis of the principles of   American Art and the interpretation of Public Art in major cities, students   will learn to appreciate and understand American Culture from an Artistic   perspective so as to enhance their perception, appreciation and sense for Modern   and Traditional Aesthetics, and to enrich their knowledge in the principles   and future development of modern Art of America. This course will focus on Cultural   comparison between China and the west so as to help students adopt   multi-dimensional thinking, a combination of emotional and rational thinking   and stay forward-looking.
