Center for Legal Thinking and Legal Logic Studies of China University of Political Science and Law was approved on December 25, 2013. The director of the center is Professor Wang Hong. The center employs leaders and experts from political and legal institutions, and scientific research institutions as consultants. Researchers include scholars from comprehensive universities, political and legal institutions, and research institutions. There are also experts in practical departments such as political and legal organs. This is beneficial for interdisciplinary research, and conducive to promoting the combination of academic research and social practice and transforming research results into social application results.

The center is committed to integrating the research force of legal thinking and legal logic inside and outside the school, building a knowledge platform and scientific research transformation mechanism for the interaction and exchange between relevant universities, scientific research institutions, and political and legal institutions, and carrying out a comprehensive study of legal thinking and legal logic theory. Moreover, the center will emphasize the mutual promotion of academic research and social application and pay attention to the knowledge dissemination of scientific research results and the transformation to social practice. The purpose of the center is to become a multidisciplinary collaborative research platform in the field of legal thinking and legal logic at China University of Political Science and Law, become an expert database and consulting service institution for the study of legal thinking and legal logic in China, become a consulting and advisory body for legal practice and complex cases in China, and make contributions to the construction of the society of the rule of law in China.
