Center for Chinese Character, Calligraphy and Culture Studies, CUPL (China University of Political Science and Law) is based on the solid foundation of Chinese culture and combines the research of Chinese calligraphy with Chinese philology, thus making the research achievements more profound. The research team includes Prof. Dong Kun, Prof. Sun Yingmin, Prof. Liang Peixian and Mr. Li Weimin, etc. The director of the center is Prof. Sun He, who devotes herself to Chinese calligraphy education in universities, as well as academic research and artistic creation of Chinese calligraphy. Her research ideas of “examining the inner thoughts (wenxin)”, “questing for knowledge (wenxue)” and “seeking the right direction(wendao)” are widely recognized.
